Getting started
Install guide for Android and iPhone: the front page. One of you taps Make a promise and sends the invite; the other taps the link and joins. A promise can mix Android and iPhone.
Common questions
The invite link opens a web page, not Pinky
That page shows the code and offers the stores: install Pinky, then tap I have a code and Paste invite. On Android, if Pinky is installed and the link still opens the browser, open Android Settings, Apps, Pinky, Open by default, and allow the links.
Nobody is told when I open Instagram
- Pinky's Home shows what is missing. On Android it needs usage access and notifications, and it should be excluded from battery optimisation so it keeps running with the screen off.
- On iPhone it needs Screen Time permission and the apps picked in Apple's picker.
- Inside the daily allowance nobody is told: the others only see your minutes. A look under a minute does not count at all.
- Check both phones have a connection. Pinky's relay delivers in seconds; a phone with no data catches up when it is back.
I want to change the deal
Home, Edit on the promise card. Changing the minutes, the sleep time, the penalty or the goal sends an ask to everyone in the promise; it applies when everyone has said yes. Dropping a watched app works the same way. Adding one applies at once.
Leaving a promise
Home, Edit on the promise card, Break the promise. It deletes the promise's history on your phone and tells the others. Uninstalling removes everything else.
Pinky Plus: subscribing, cancelling, refunds
Plus is sold by Google Play or the App Store; one subscriber unlocks it for the whole promise. Cancel in the store's subscription settings (Google Play: Payments and subscriptions; iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions). Refunds follow the store's rules. Nothing is deleted when Plus lapses.

What Pinky can see
Which of the apps you chose is on screen, and for how long. Never what you do inside them, and never anything on a phone that is not in your promise. The privacy policy has the full list.
